Located in the old telephone exchange building, in the picturesque South Canterbury town of Geraldine is Verde, a vibrant cafe that has been a part of the Geraldine community for almost two decades. Surrounded by beautifully tended gardens, we strive to deliver an exceptional experience for everyone from locals to travellers passing through.
Our menu, created by Chef and Co-Owner Joe McKenzie, reflects our regional offerings and the changing seasons while incorporating his cooking experiences from around the world. At Verde, you will find contemporary breakfast and lunch dishes and excellent coffee and during the warmer months, we even open up our garden for dinner in the evenings.
